The CENTRE OF ADVANCED DENTAL EDUCATION
considers students and partners in learning and strives to provide each with
the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the challenges of the dental
profession. The curriculum of CENTRE OF ADVANCED DENTAL EDUCATION has been
designed to reflect the changing needs of the dental profession. Our goal is to
develop dental practitioners who will be capabable of doing
dental implants in a professional way after getting training at our centre.

 Course Detail
Knowing all about Implants and doing Implants in
day to day practice are two different thing. This is a comprehensive course for
private practitioners to help them smart Implants in their practice.
Duration
The course is of 6 months duration. It is distributed over three contact
session of 3 days each at New Delhi with additional home tasks which are
clinical and non clinical in nature between sessions.

Following is the basic structure of the

Dr. Ruud C. Hertel
professor at Academic Center of oral
implantology. Holland
Dr.R.C Hertel has been practicing exclusive oral implantology since 20 years.
He completed a 5 year specialization in Prosthodontics and Implantology and
continued as associate professor at Academic Center of oral implantology,
University of Njimegen, of oral implantology, Holland. He has been responsible
for the development and introduction of a standardized implantlogy curriculum
and specialty certification board for German and Dutch Universities. He Has
authored two book and several international publications in implantology . He
was professor and Director at one year specialty Implantology course, Manipal
Academy of higher Education, India.

Dr.
shahvir Nooryezdan
Master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry from University of
Sheffield,U.K
Dr. shahvir Nooryezdan has his basic Dental Degree from the government Dental
college, University of Mumbai, India. He followed this up with a Master’s
degree in Restorative Dentistry from University of Sheffield, U.K. in 1992.He
received advance training in oral implantology in Germany & Holland at
various clinics and centers for implantology. He has been in private clinical
practice with an emphasis on restorative &.Implant dentistry, in Mumbai
since 1993. He has lectured and conduct Implantology training course in-India,
south East Asia and Australia & Europe. He has been faculty and examiner at
the Australian society of Implant Dentistry level & II accreditation
program. He is founder member of Asian academy of Osseointegration &
founder President of Indian academy of osseointegration.

Dr. C.P Mathai
MDS in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery from
Nair Hospital dental College, Mumbai
Dr. Mathai has completed his MDS in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery from Nair
Hospital dental College, Mumbai. He has been a keen Implantologist since his
MDS days where his dissertation topic was implantology. He has received
advanced training in oral implantology in Germany, Holland & Belgium. He
maintains a private practice in Mumbai with an emphasis on surgical Dentistry,
dental Implants and Oral Reconstruction |

Dr. Abhay Lamba
BDS (MAHE),COI(Holland)
Post Graduate certificate in Oral implantology(MAHE)
Dr. Abhay Lamba a
Graduate of MAHE, did certificate course in Implants in 2001 from Manipal and
“Clinical Advance Oral Implantology” from Zeist, Holland Under Prof. Dr R.C.
Hertel. His Quest for knowledge led him to USA for advanced grafting and
maxillary sinus lifts. Dr Eduardo Antitua of Spain taught him the art of
computerized tomography based surgery. The use of Piezo- surgery at Madrid,
Spain , in 2006helped him to master the art of maxillary sinus lifts. This led
the foundation for him to be a pioneer in –Intra Lift Maxillary Sinus surgeries
in India. He is the member of ICOI, IAO, AOI. He is a fellow of the academy of
General Education, M.A.H.E, ICOI, USA and DGZI , Germany. Dr. Abhay Lamba is an
accomplished speaker and has addressed various gathering held under ICOI Asia
Pacific , AOI, IAO & IDA.

Dr. Sushil Nijhawan
Graduate from the MAHE
Dr. Sushil Nijhawan, graduate from the MAHE and
subsequently postgraduate in the forte of Prosthodontics from Rajiv Gandhi
University of health science. Having done various Implantology program in
Sweden, Germany and Holland, he went on to pursue the postgraduate certificate
program in implantology from Friadent. He is currently Associate Professor of
prosthodontics and maintains an evening practice, with a fervent interest in
Implantology. Having extensive lectured on the various aspects of Implantology
at various dental platforms, he is a life member of the ICOI, IAO & AOI.

Dr. Praful Bali
Graduated from Karnataka University
Dr Prful Bali graduated graduate from Karnataka University , and did post
graduation in Prosthodontics including crown and bridge and maxillofacial
prosthetics from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science. He further went on
a complete certificate course in Oral Implantology from MAHE. He also done
Certificate Course in Implantology from Ziest, Holland and in Laboratory
Prosthodontics from VITA, Germany. He has been participating Implant Dentistry
since 1999 and is currently Teaching Faculty in Department of Oral
Implantology, C.O.D.S, Manipal. He is founder of treasurer of Academy of Oral
Implantology (A.O.I), Life Member of the Academy of I.C.O.I and I.A.O. He has
many publications in his name in this specialized field and has made
presentations for various Dental forums across the country.
